That same... was it Tuesday? Anyway he came to pick me up again at around 10 PM. We sat at a park, had some beer and talked. 'twas nice. Kissed a little, no biggy. All was well.

The following day, I met him for lunch, made if very clear I only had an hour off or my commander would be pissed.
And he went all Jekyll and Hyde on my ass, in a sense that, well. Okay, I'll put it this way:
I'm totally not polyamorous. I'm so not the let's take it easy, not commit to anything type of person. I mean, I'm not saying we should have been exclusive or wtf ever from that moment on, but I fall very hard, very quickly, and I'm never looking to get into something that's not serious.
So when I feel a person is way too, errr.. sticky for me, that probably means there's something very wrong with them. Plus, he would not listen to a word I said and made retarded remarks I did not appreciate.
So I bid him farewell and sent him on his way.

A few months ago, my BFF Joe suggested I apply to A5 Magazine. I have, and they've chosen my Project Lambs to the Slaughter: El Manana to be featured in their next magazine! :D
I'm uber excited, even though the magazine is in b&w, which kind of takes part of the piece away; but nonetheless, a lot of artsy-fartsy people around Israel read this. Anyway, I'll be featured in the January magazine. If you live in Israel, be sure to buy one! If you don't, I'll be more than happy to provide you with a copy. I myself will purchase several.



On another note, I've seen this journal by atrocioustoaster, and, well, what would you say if I took on designing a Dieter or a Sa action figure for PatchTogether? Would you be interested in it? Vote for it at all?

But due to a recent explosion between my commander and myself, since I've gotten sick of his attitute towards me (basically, I give 200% of myself to this job and he keeps fucking around with me like I'm some sort of personal slave or something, and I went and told my Lt. Col. because I am FUCKING FED UP),

So this guy who's a year older than me who went to my high-school added me on Facebook today.
I didn't think much of it, a lot of people from my school have me on their Facebook, but then suddenly he started talking to me on the FB chat. I mean, he actually made an effort to strike a conversation. Apparently, he now lives in New York, models for a living, and is a bass-guitar player in a new rock band he just formed with some people he knows from NY. He told me he was back in Israel for the next week, because his cousin was getting married or whatever, and when we started talking about tattoos [he totally liked my mermaid, and has two very big ones of his own], all the pictures he sent me of his were either of him shirtless, or just in tiny tiny boxer shorts. Now, he didn't ask for my phone-number, but, this is considered as a pure come-on for a booty-call as long as he's in Israel. Ammirite?

Yes, I spent a lot of money on this vest. Yes, I am completely comfortable with that fact. I know I'm a horrible, horrible person who should not, by any means, be allowed to live.

I was asked to name one thing I like about my art, since I seem to be rather displeased with it lately.

I love that in whatever I draw, people-wise, the eyes are very not important. They're usually small, you can almost never tell what color they are, and the character usually looks away from the viewer, either to the sides or at one of the lower corners of the drawing, so their eyes are almost closed shut.
I like this because the eyes being a 'window to the soul' is complete and utter bullshit. I also like it because I've so far been doing this unintentionally, and only noticed this as of late.

All this cold weather and all this rain, the warm clothes, the soundtrack of The Assassination of Jesse James [will go later on today to purchase the Public Enemies soundtrack] and me reading The Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer [research for Dieter and PLS in general] brings on this wintery feeling with it. I forgot I actually like winter. I wish I could stay home this weekend instead of having to go to guarding duty, and, like the previous one, sit in my room, watch good movies, paint, write, and on the evening go out for a beer. Sigh.

I just wish there was milk in the unit's fridge so that I could have a hot cuppa joe instead of this lameass cinnamon tea.

In the Air Force HQ, our offices are on the 13th floor, and from our balcony you get a gorgeous view of the Tel Aviv shores.
I went for a smoke outside this morning and it started raining, but the weather wasn't cold at all [because we're friggin' Israel], and so once I finished my cigarette Katt and I ran all over the floor and took pretty pictures.

Fuck I love Murdoc.

So wait, Frank was Donnie's sister's BOYFRIEND? Like, not just her friend, but her actual boyfriend? Did anyone get this from the movie?

Siiigh guarding duties. I have to spend the first saturday of November in the base. Whatever.

Just some stuff;

• Star Wars Marathon turned into Nerd Night tradition. After we finish watching Star Wars we move on to Indiana Jones, Batman, Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. I'm in-love with Darth Vader. <3
• Starting tomorrow I'm going to work on getting a driver's license. I've had enough of not being able to drive myself places. Plus I owe Shani for three years of picking me up from home.
• I took Edie's advice and contacted Bethany in order two put PLS down to words. I really hope this works. I really wanna get it done.
• Gotta go back to school this saturday. They're giving away our diplomas - and even though I already got mine, my friends will kill me if I don't show up. Heck, aside from like 2-3 people I fucking hate every stinking poser from my grade. I just realized that. I so don't wanna see any of them and hear any stupid remarks about how I'm not gay anymore and that I dyed my hair blonde and growing it long or that I now smoke. I really don't wanna hear shit about it. But I'll come for the sake of my friends and several teachers who I really loved.
• Also finally gonna be able to upload pictures of my new Murdoc Niccals action figure this week. :D
• It's Kathryn's birthday Dec. 14th, and her family is throwing a Christmas party at the 17th, so I gotta get everyone gifts. I'm really psyched about it though, I've never been to a Christmas party. Should be pretty awesome. She says she already knows what to get me for Christmas. Hope it's Darth-Vader-action-figure-related.
• Edie mailed me the Nick Cave t-shirt printed and designed by herself :D pictures when I get it. Yay!
